Dylan Chambers, Guitar Tutor
Dylan Chambers is one of our guitar tutors. Dylan is an accomplished performer, composer and teacher of the guitar. He specialises in classical guitar, however is enthusiastic about all genres of music. In recent years Dylan has performed in various concerts and events including at the G-Taranaki guitar festival as part of the NZSM guitar ensemble. Dylan has been teaching guitar for 5 years to students of all ages and levels. He works hard to give his guitar students a broad and balanced musical education, teaching with a mix of classical, popular, rock and blues music. Dylan is also a teacher of gymnastics, and finds working with children to be especially rewarding. At the Raroa Music Centre he hopes to inspire more youngsters to engage with music and continue to discover and play music throughout their lives. Outside of teaching, Dylan spends his time studying international relations and languages at Victoria University. His hobbies include practicing gymnastics, swimming, reading, and playing the piano.
